What is short-term medical?

In many states, short-term medical can be issued for up to a 364 day term and you can be guaranteed an additional 2 terms of consecutive coverage, for a total of nearly 3 years. Short-term medical generally does not cover pre-existing conditions as defined in policies and varies by state.

What type of coverage is available on short-term medical?

It can cover such things as hospitalization, ER, surgery, doctor office calls, lab, imaging, testing, ambulance, and much more. Deductibles and coinsurance can vary by plan options. Options are available for maximums up to $1,000,000 per term, per covered family member.

How soon can I get covered?

Generally, next day coverage is available for accidents and up to 3 to 5 days for sickness.

Are network providers available in my area?

Our plans include some of the largest national ppo networks which should provide you ample availability of health providers.

Does short-term medical cover dental proceedures?

No. Dental insurance is completely separate.

Is coverage available for gaps like deductibles or coinsurance?
